I had the privilege of representing Folk Canada at this event. It was truly was a welcomed opportunity to bring together artists and industry friends from Canada, Australia, and Denmark.

Huge congratulations to the fantastic showcasing artists Inn Echo , Nico Paulo, Mia Kelly and Basset - four beautiful performances that showed the depth and diversity of Canada’s folk community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to listen, connect, and support international collaboration in music.

Lloyd Spiegel is a bluesman at his core, a guitarist by trade, a comedian by nature and a showman at heart. He blends powerful vocals and jaw-dropping guitar prowess with a knack for humour and storytelling to deliver a unique, captivating performance that crosses genres and generations.

With 10 albums to his name, the 14 time Australian Blues Award winner has dedicated his life to creating a signature style that honours the traditions of the music he loves, while creating a link in the chain of its evolution.

Spiegel performs over one hundred shows a year on theatre stages and major festivals in North America, Europe, Australia, New Zealand and Japan. He tours both solo and with his trio in Canada. Highlights include the Montreal Jazz Festival (CAN), Ottawa Bluesfest (CAN), Kansas City Blues Festival (USA), Sapporo Blues Festival (Japan) and Groningen Rhythm and Blues Festival (NL). 🎤🎸✨

We’re also pleased to be working alongside Lloyd’s manager, Sarah Porter of Porter Music Management—her expertise and passion for the music industry make this partnership all the more special! 🙌

Congratulations to Mia Kelly for putting on a stellar show at the Rivoli in Toronto last night! You could hear a pin drop in the room filled with friends and fans. First show of the tour in the books and now heading to Huntsville, Ottawa and Montreal before going west! Details at miakellymusic.com.
