Artist spotlight:
Almyr Jules is a local Ottawa artist. As singer-songwriter he’s constantly inspired to create music that shares meaningful sounds and lyrics and stories that people can relate to. Establishing connections with people is extremely important for him, and considers an amazing opportunity to share his passion with others.
On Friday, June 26th, he’ll be sharing with us some of his art and the work that goes behind it.

Last but not least, check out our Artist spotlight on Terri (.t.cheung). Terri was introduced to music through piano. However the show American Idol inspired her to learn to sing. Terri took classical and contemporary style singing lessons during her middle school days and enjoyed being in musical theater productions. In university she learned guitar and enjoyed playing in open mic nights in her home town Calgary.
Fun fact: Terri enjoys rock climbing and adventure but also enjoys staying at home and watching animal videos on the internet.

Next up is Michael Hanna ft. Ramel Bautista ()

Michael enjoys the improvisational stylings of Jazz, the freedom of the blues and the spiritual fire of Gospel, cultivated throughout various time of his life.
Michael has performed on various stages in North America, Canada and Japan. With a notable collaboration of first-class musicians in Ottawa, Michael has performed as Michael Hanna and friends in the Ottawa and Merrickville Jazz festivals, in several performances on the NAC 4th Stage, in the Gift of Jazz production at the National Gallery of Art, the Center-Pointe Theater and several private concerts in the National Capital Area.
He can be found on several EP’s including The Right Words to Romance, his own Michael Hanna family and friends and Canadian productions by Pete Foret.
In addition to his singing career, Michael manages RMI Publishing., developed to promote the over 300 compositions of the late Sir Roland Hanna.

Check our our next Artist spotlight on Kamoi ().
New to the Ottawa area, Kamoi hails from the GTA, and is joining Livingroom Live as a solo act. Starting out as most do with piano lessons, she fell in love with the art of playing, singing, and sharing music with others. Exposed to many instruments growing up, she took the opportunities as they came to try and get her hands on any instrument she could find. For her, music is a powerful tool used to impact the lives of those experiencing it. It brings hope, joy, and a sense of freedom, both to those listening, and those participating in it. To be a part of that in some way is an honour. Kamoi enjoys singing, dancing, acting, and pretty much anything arts related!
