🌟 A Decade of Recovery 🌟

In June 2025, I reached a big milestone: 10 years free from intravenous addictions 🎉

My journey included street involvement and time around shelters, relying daily on community supports like Operation Come Home. Those resources saved my life and gave me opportunities that allowed me to grow into the artist I am today 🎨

Tomorrow, on World Mental Health Day, I’ll be storytelling & live painting at a benefit for Operation Come Home alongside MonkeyJunk (2× Juno Award winners 🎵). The painting I create will be raffled off, with all proceeds going toward helping youth in Ottawa have more chances to build their own futures 💞

This event also connects to Ottawa’s goal to end youth homelessness by 2030. Together, we can make it happen! 🌈

I’ve been experimenting with a new style lately, and I’m so excited that this big, bold piece is heading to its new home this week! 💞
