A Very Fine Improv Show is a monthly Improv show that takes place at Live! On Elgin in Ottawa.

Get ready to unite with POWER TEAM! Saturday February 21st!
Can four super-powered teens save the world and survive high school? Find out in this high-energy, teen-angst-fueled, all-improvised superhero adventure!
• We don’t know what schemes our nefarious villain has planned.
• We don’t know what powers the team will unleash to stop them.
• But we do know it’ll take brains, heart, and — above all —teamwork.
Power Team! is an all-improvised, retro-inspired thrill ride in the spirit of Sailor Moon, Teen Titans, and Power Rangers. Catch it at the Arts Court Atelier on select Saturdays in February and March.

Thank you everyone for an amazing 2024 Ottawa Improv Jamboree!
This year was a Jamming success with over 19 teams, 4 Incredible hosts, a Mash Up the Jam Show and an Annual Jamuel Community Brunch, 8 workshops and 3 nights of Hilarious Improv!
None of this could be possible without you- the Ottawa Improv Community, whether you performed, hosted, volunteered, taught, shared your experiences, watched or helped spread that Jam, you worked together to build a welcoming, entertaining and educational space for Improv Artists in Ottawa.
We want to give a special thanks to our show hosts Michael Kosowan, Alison Harle, Dave Shaub, and Velvet Wells. They seamlessly ran the shows and created a high end performance experience for the audiences.
We’d also like to thank our volunteers Evan Abrams and Adrianna Johnston. Support is essential and you gave it enthusiastically!
Also- a huge shout out to Moira Forbes, one of the biggest supporters of the Jamboree and future Improv performer!
Lastly we want to thank the Ottawa Fringe Festival and their staff; Jake Nevins on bar, Josh Carroll in the booth, and Ted Forbes as facilities manager. The Ottawa Fringe Festival is a hub for community support, growth and investment in the local art scene!
The next Jamboree will be November 13th-15 2025, so start canning now cause next year will be JAM packed with even more astounding OTTAWA IMPROV!

And remember Improv is ART, Improv is CULTURE, Improv is THEATRE!
