MEET THE COMPANY: Andrew Alexander (sound design & photography)

Andrew Alexander (he/him) is a professional photographer, writer and designer living in Ottawa, Canada. Andrew’s speciality is theatrical photography, using both still and moving images to document and promote new works. Andrew has produced and directed seven short films, and six music videos since 2012, as well as writing and producing over a dozen theatrical plays. MEET THE COMPANY: William Beddoe (Director)

William Beddoe (he/him) is an Ottawa-based actor and director. Previously with Plan B Productions, he directed ‘The Proposal & The Ring,’ and performed in ‘2084’ and as Dr. Faustus in ‘ ’. In a long association with Ottawa’s commedia specialists Odyssey Theatre, he appeared in ‘The Bonds of Interest’, ‘The Things We Do For Love’, ‘The Illusion’, ‘False Confessions’, and, during the pandemic, the podcast drama ‘Heart’s Home’; and has also performed with St. Lawrence Shakespeare Co., Bear & Co., Evolution Theatre, Third Wall, and others. In 1997 William was a Founding Producer of the Ottawa Fringe Festival.

MEET THE COMPANY: Kenney Vandelinde (“Sylvia (1968)” in THE WHITE CROCODILE)

Kenney Vandelinde (she/her) is a grade 11 drama student at Canterbury High School. She worked backstage on "The Proposal & The Ring" with Plan B Productions at the Ottawa Fringe Festival in 2022. She is incredibly excited to be returning to the Fringe, and can’t wait to be on the stage this time!

MEET THE COMPANY: Kelsey Rideout (“Gabby” in DAMMED / “Sylvia (1982)” in THE WHITE CROCODILE)

Kelsey Rideout (she/her) is a writer and actor. She studied International Development at the University of Guelph and just before compulsive essay writing nearly ended her, she fell back into the arms of art. Her acting training includes several years at The Intensive Actors Lab as well as a residency at The Watah Theatre. Recent theatre credits include The Lover in “The Supine Cobbler” at the Great Canadian Theatre Company, Eleanor in “label” by Levity Theatre and #11 in “The Wolves”, winner of the Prix Rideau Best Direction and Jury Award. Recent film credits include “Lina and Luis”, a short film by Ludmylla Reis. Her original spoken word poetry was included in the 2023 NUMUS Emerging Curators Award and her non-fiction writing has been published in several magazines and news outlets. She offers creative workshops at PUS$Y Church, her home to support other women and non-binary creatives, located on the ‘gram @ PUS$Y Church

MEET THE COMPANY: Chelsea Passmore (choreographer & performer, I AM OIL)

Chelsea Passmore (she/her) is an Ottawa based contemporary dance artist. She has choreographed a solo (Étoile et Océan, 2018), a dance theatre duet with Travis Martin (Lust/Trust//Shame/Game, 2018) and a duet with Elizabeth Emond-Stevenson (On Cue, 2019). Chelsea has performed in Dark Horse Dance Projects, Ottawa Fringe, Fresh Meat Theatre Festival, Art House Café, PAL Ottawa, Ottawa Storytellers, Dance made in Canada Festival, Pique and Ottawa Dance Directive. She most recently danced and acted in ‘Exciting Cause’ by Laurie Fyffe in the Tactics Mainstage series in Spring 2023.

MEET THE COMPANY: Élise Gauthier (“Sylvia (2000)” in THE WHITE CROCODILE / narrator in I AM OIL)

Élise Gauthier (she/her) is a bilingual multidisciplinary artist based in Ottawa. Over the last 20+ years, Élise has worked with companies like Ottawa Stilt Union, Eddie May murder mysteries, les Créations in Vivo, and many more, along with producing her own creations. She also teaches theatre and acrobatics to students of all ages and loves sharing the joys of artistic creation. More recently, Élise has been on a hiatus from the stage to focus on her role as mother to a very creative and expressive little person, and she’s now thrilled to be back under the spotlight at the Fringe!
