I get it, spending $25-30 bucks on a pair of underwear can sound pretty outrageous! It took me a *really* long time to "dive" into sourcing locally, sustainable clothing pieces. But after a wild kitchen accident that left my breasts as Crispy as your Sunday brunch bacon (YA I said THAT!) I had a hard time wearing any clothing that was restrictive, full of tight bands/elastics or made from polyester. So I dove into making underwear out of organic fabrics- OR at least the most sustainable fabrics that lasted longer, kept its form and most importantly-adapted to my ever changing body. I use Bamboo, H**p, Organic Cotton (often a blend of these fabrics) that all have a stretch of less than 5%. These fabrics are breathable, comfortable, long-lasting, and get softer with wear/time. Investing in locally made sustainable garments means your investing in yourself and in your community all while avoiding the big corporations & fast fashion industry. Win win in my books!
Mega thanks to feedback like this (and all you amazing repeat customers!) I am able to feel like the last 4yrs sitting at the sewing table is becoming more valuable than just sparking joy while color matching- it truly makes me happy seeing YOU happy in your FWCo pieces! ๐๐งกโค๏ธ
