Today, on the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, we honour the Survivors of residential schools, remember the children who never returned home, and recognize the lasting impact on Indigenous families and communities.

As a multicultural community, we believe that building a more inclusive Canada begins with listening, learning, acknowledging the truth, and respecting the First Peoples of this land.

Today and every day, we stand in the spirit of remembrance, respect, and reconciliation.

To our incredible volunteers THANK YOU

Over two full days, you showed up with energy, patience, kindness, and commitment. From early morning setup to late-night takedown, and through every busy moment in between, you helped make sure everything ran smoothly and without disruption.

You came from different age groups, backgrounds, and experiences, but you worked together as one team. You stepped in wherever help was needed, supported our vendors, performers, guests, and organizers, and gave your time so generously.

We truly could not have done this without you.

We are so proud and grateful to have worked alongside such an amazing group of volunteers. Your hard work was behind so many of the moments people enjoyed throughout the festival, even when they may not have seen everything happening behind the scenes.

Thank you for being part of this journey, for believing in our community, and for helping us bring the festival to life.

We sincerely hope we get the chance to work with each of you again.
