We’ve held off as long as we could but we just need to remind you that if you are planning on doing some holiday making, now is the time people! We are making it easy with our holiday schedule. We have quilts! A tree skirt! And this year we have not one, but two stocking options! Grab a pal and make some festive plans to join us in a workshop

We are so excited to be welcoming our friend Andrea Tsang Jackson back to our workshop to teach you how to make her Twin Blooms quilt block. Twin Blooms was designed by Andrea to be part of the Modern Botanicals Sampler quilt but we think it is stunning on its own and we can wait to see your version! Register on our website and join us on November 7

Patch will be closed on September 30. Classes in the evening and after school will go ahead but we want some of our day, and hopefully yours, to be spent reflecting on the history and lasting legacy of Canada’s residential school system. If you’ve not yet seen it, we would encourage you to visit the Millbrook Cultural Centre to look at the amazing beadwork and regalia on display there

We are looking for a vendor to join our line up at our annual handmade holiday market in November. Each year since moving to our new home on Agricola Street we have hosted textile artists and makers in our Handmade Holiday Market which coincides with the Agricola Open Street Holiday Market. It’s always a great time and a busy day for our makers. We are looking for a textile artist to join us this year on November 15 (rain date November 22). If you would like more info please email us at [email protected]

Friends, we are 12. We are so happy to be here - part of a wonderful community of makers and doers and dreamers. Counting out the days in meters and zippers and workshops and buttons and project planning. And this weekend we celebrate with a sale! Come join us in store on Saturday September 19 and online Sunday September 20th! We love this annual tradition and we can’t wait to see you and hear all about what you are sewing these days!
