Find me and so many other amazing vendors this Saturday with Sackville Farmers' Market NS for Halloween at the Market! The last outside market for the 2026 Season!

There's going to be trick or treating at the market, a children's costume parade, fun crafts with Sandy, and vendors will be decked out too!
Dressing up is highly encouraged (but remember, this is a family friendly event, so choose your look with that in mind)

If you’re a maker, baker, artist, or market vendor, we need to talk about event scams. Again. Scammers impersonate craft shows, artisan markets, and festivals. They steal branding, build convincing application forms, and send messages that look surprisingly real. People are still falling for them

🎃 HALLOWEEN AT THE SACKVILLE FARMERS’ MARKET → SATURDAY, OCTOBER 31ST IN SACKVILLE, NOVA SCOTIA!

How lucky are we to have Halloween fall on market day this year! To celebrate, we’re having an extra special market on Saturday, October 31st. Join us for a costume parade, trick-or-treating at the market table, crafts, and shopping local!

Shop fresh produce, local meat, cheese, jam/jellies, bath + body goods, baked goods, hot coffee, clothing, crochet items, decor, artwork, jewelry, and much more!

Enjoy live music, grab a bit to eat from the Bradstone Pizza Food Truck, and spend your afternoon with us! Dressing up is encouraged! Please note that this is an all ages event and costumes should be appropriate. 🙂

Please note that after October 31st we will move the market inside Acadia Hall until the end of our season (May-Nov). There will be NO market on Saturday, November 7th due to another event taking place at Acadia Hall.

We have LIMITED parking. We encourage you to park at the Downsview Plaza or Walter N. Regan Park and walk to the market if you are able.

I'm going to be at Stitch & Knit Dartmouth twice this week teaching! Would you like to come?

Wondering what’s happening at the shop this week? We’ve got a fun lineup of crafting opportunities!

On Wednesday, join us for our twice-monthly Q***r Craft Night. Drop in, get crafty, and enjoy making things alongside fellow q***r crafters!

On Thursday, our Knit Your First Sweater class meets for its fourth session—it’s time to split for sleeves!

On Friday, stop by for a PWYC Micro Skills Session with Kelsey and learn how to thread a needle and sew a basic running stitch.

On Saturday, join Kelsey again for an intro to cross-stitch. You'll learn this fun craft while making an ornament!

Finally, on Sunday, come to our Learn to Sew Workshop with Jasmine and make a drawstring bag. There’s just one spot left!

Thank you to all the lovely humans who came out to Avon Community Farmers’ Market | Windsor, Nova Scotia 🫜 's pop up in Hantsport, NS! It was a lovely day and lots of lovely humans (and their pups) came through. Also the community centre grounds and Churchill House are beautiful! I'm glad I decided to come!
And a big thank you to the team behind the market for organizing all of this 💖

In the category of "Not related to stationery" things I do, next week I'm doing two different workshops at Stitch & Knit Dartmouth !

- On Friday, October 23, from 12pm-1pm, I'm doing a Micro-Skills Session about some sewing basics!
What is a Micro-Skills Session? From Stitch & Knit: "Micro Skill Sessions are focused, practical workshops covering one specific technique across knitting, crochet, quilting, hand sewing, embroidery, and other crafts. Each class includes a short demo, guided practice, and plenty of time for questions — so you actually leave knowing how to do the thing."

- On Saturday, October 24, from 12:30-3:30pm, I'm teaching a Learn to Cross Stitch workshop where we're going to make some ornaments that you'll be able to go on and make more of! There's a few signed up already, but more people are welcome!
