First shoot of the new school year! 🎬

Yesterday, our Tuesday Advanced group stepped onto the FilmStage set for their first scene shoot of the year, working on a scene from Singles.

Putting the work in front and behind of the camera is an essential part of our training.

A great way to kick off a new year of Advanced training 🎥✨

We’re still working hard on our choreography from Hairspray during our Musical Dance Classes! 🤩

With a strong focus on performance, technique and audition preparedness, we’re working step by step towards the moment we can bring it all together and film our finished performance 🎥

We may still be a small group, but we’re a powerful one💥 And there’s room for you!

Come join us for our next choreography, starting Saturday 31 October ♥️🖤

A glimpse at some of the monologues we’ve recently filmed during our Acting Introduction Courses and put on our Youtube channel ✨

This is their first monologue filmed in our studio, putting everything they’ve learned during the course into practice in front of the camera.

Here are three little moments from three very different performances.

A little milestone we’re incredibly proud of 🎬✨

Last Friday, the final spot in our third Intro Acting group was booked, which means all three of our September–December Intro groups are officially FULL.

And with that, we’ve reached another milestone:

50 students are now training at FilmStage Studio across our different classes and programs 🤍

What started as a small acting class has grown into a creative community of actors and performers training, experimenting and creating together every week.

And we’re already looking ahead… Registrations for our January 2027 Intro Acting group are now open, and only 3 of the 6 spots are still available.

A huge thank you to everyone for putting their trust in us 🙏🏻

Our acting studio has come a long way since 2019 😮‍💨

What started as a simple space to teach acting has grown into a fully functioning film set, built to bring our classes closer to the reality of working on set, and to raise the production value of every scene and showreel we shoot. 🎥🌟

Quite a difference ❤️

Stills from a recent monologue we shot last month on our filmset. We love the soft, intimate and moody atmosphere.

We’re so excited to see our former student and now coach in the trailer for 🙌🏻

We can’t wait for it’s European release!

Taking our introduction course is not for the weak! Yesterday we filmed 6 monologues.

🕕 Start: 6:00 PM
🕞 Wrap: 3:30 AM

Intense? Yes. Worth it? Absolutely! Well done to all the actors 👏

And a huge thanks to Advanced student D.C. Blezer for rescuing us from our shortage of male actors in this group... and for being permanently typecast as the “sh*tty husband getting yelled at.” 😌
