FRAGILE Handle with care, not us… the paintings!
I thought l’d take a moment to introduce myself if you’re new here.
My name is Janine Farinski and l paint under my maiden name Ryan. I have been painting for around thirty years and have tutored hundreds of students over twenty years.
In a few weeks time l’ll be co-hosted an exhibition with (fibre artist) Jennie-maree Tempest. l have to admit the preparation for our FRAGILE Exhibition, has been far more challenging than I ever imagined when we first began planning this journey two years ago. Yet, it has also become one of the most meaningful goals I’ve pursued during my ongoing cancer treatment. Having this exhibition to look forward to has brought focus, purpose, and strength to my recovery in ways I can’t fully express.
If you are able to visit across one of the five weekends in May, your presence would mean a great deal to us. While countless hours go into creating the work, it is the shared experience, the connection, the conversations, and the joy of others engaging with what we love that truly brings an exhibition to life.
