🐊 Speckles' Enrichment Feed! 🐊

Today’s enrichment came in the form of a whole lamb....and Speckles was certainly making the most of it! 😮‍💨

The head tossing, shaking and slamming of his prey is a natural behaviour. These powerful movements help crocodiles tear and break apart large prey, as they don’t chew their food like we do!

Enrichment like this allows Speckles to engage in natural feeding behaviours and use those powerful muscles 💚
