🏆BOWLER OF THE MONTH – MAY🎳

Congratulations to Justin Morrison, our May Bowler of the Month!

Justin bowled an 856 HDCP Series on the 20th of May 2026 in the Ramblers League!

Each month we recognise the highest handicap series across all our leagues. The winner receives a free night of league bowling and goes into the draw to win $300 in Pro Shop credit at the end of the year.

Congratulations to Linda Evans who guess 1102, which was closest to our total amount of 1104 containers!

If you’ve ever put a can or a bottle in a bin here at the bowl over the last 12+ months, there is a very good chance your container has been recycled at the CDS for the Colac Otway Rovers AFC!

A fair few bags of containers have built up over the last couple weeks and Darren went through and deposited them all!

We are doing a combined giveaway of a Rovers Beanie, Stubby Holder and a Family Pass to whoever can guess closest to the amount of containers Darren deposited!

Only 1 guess per person with entries closing at 5pm Thursday the 11th of June!

🎳 NEW: LITTLE ROLLERS PROGRAM!🎉

While we've been busy growing our adult league program over the past year, we've also been working behind the scenes on something for the next generation of bowlers. We're excited to introduce Little Rollers, a brand-new 10-week learn to bowl program for kids aged 10–17!

Little Rollers is a structured 10-week coaching program where kids will learn the fundamentals of tenpin bowling step by step. Each week focuses on a different area of the sport, helping participants build confidence, improve their skills and develop a strong understanding of the game.

💰 $20 per week
🎳Bowling shoes and house balls included
🎉 Receive your very own bowling ball at the end of the program!

We're currently taking expressions of interest for Term 3. At this stage, Little Rollers is still in the planning phase and we'll be using the responses to gauge interest and determine the best day and time to run the program. As part of the registration form, we ask parents to select all days their child would be available so we can schedule the program on the day with the highest interest. If demand is strong enough, we may even look at running multiple sessions.

We're excited to bring junior bowling back to Colac and would love to get this program off the ground. If you've got a child who might be interested in learning how to bowl, we'd love to hear from you! 🎳
