My former teacher of improvisation, Tobias Cramm, runs an annual workshop in Switzerland called Menti-Parti, where children and young people are introduced to the wonderful art of partimento: learning harmony through improvisation. This is the approach that gave me such an intuitive grounding in harmony and improvisation, and I can warmly recommend it to any young musician who wants to compose, improvise, and understand music from the inside.
