In this poignant coming-of-age tale, we follow a group of recent high school graduates as they navigate the complexities of adulthood. Amidst the pressures of societal expectations and peer influence, our protagonist, Peter, struggles to reconcile his teenage fantasies with the harsh realities of life. Haunted by a secret addiction to alcohol and substance abuse, Peter finds solace in the presence of Nqobile, a childhood friend who shares his anxieties about the future. As they wait for their A Level results, Peter's world is turned upside down when his best friend, Marcus, reveals a shocking secret that threatens to tear their friendship apart. Through Peter's eyes, we witness the struggles and triumphs of these young adults as they confront their deepest fears and grapple with the weight of their choices. With a first-person portrayal of each character, we gain insight into their individual biases and the triggering forces that shape their decisions. This is a story about growing up, facing adversity, and finding the strength to overcome it all.
