King Drey is on it again 👑

After blessing us last year with his powerful 13-track album "Gevha Rinotenda" , Zimbabwe’s own King Drey is officially stepping into a new season!

Get ready for his upcoming EP:
"SOFT ERA BABOON"

The King is switching gears. From gratitude and praise to vibes, love, and real-life reflections — _Soft Era Baboon_ is King Drey in his most honest, smooth, and vulnerable bag yet. Think soulful melodies, hard truths, and that signature King Drey energy.

What to expect:
- The Evolution: From _Gevha Rinotenda_’s 13 tracks of praise, to this new era of softness, growth, and self-awareness
- *The Vibe*: Soft but still a Baboon. Calm waters, deep waves.
- *The Message*: Healing, love, hustle, and staying grounded

King Drey isn’t just dropping music. He’s starting a whole _era_.

Enter MT Trapkid aka Savage

🎤 DIAMOND CITY MAGAZINE | ARTIST SPOTLIGHT

From Honde Valley to Mutare, Liberty Elvis Muroro is carving out his own identity in Zimbabwe's urban music scene.

Known professionally as Mt Trapkid — also going by Mutare Trapkid and Savage — the artist began his musical journey in 2017 and has spent the years since developing a sound rooted in Hip Hop, Trap, Drill, and Afropop.

He describes his direction as a "new Zim hip taste," with Dark Mbada Trap Mode capturing the attitude and identity behind it.

💰 NEXT UP: "MONEY" FT. DESTINY MOLLIFY

Mt Trapkid is gearing up for the release of his new video, "Money," featuring Destiny Mollify — a track that dives into one of life's most relatable realities: the weight of money.

The song explores both sides of that coin: the freedom and comfort money can bring, and the stress and difficult choices that come when it's out of reach. It doesn't shy away from the harder parts either — asking for help, financial pressure straining relationships and emotions. At its core, "Money" is about everyday survival and the pursuit of a better life.

🐆 THE MUTARE SOUND

Blending trap, drill, and Afropop influences, Mt Trapkid is part of a new generation of Zimbabwean artists pushing the sound forward while staying rooted in their own stories.

Since starting out in 2017, he's built toward this moment — and with "Money" ft. Destiny Mollify on the way, he's ready to bring more listeners into his world.
