Dear SADC Leadership,
On 31 July 2026, Zimbabweans are raising their voices again.
We are calling on SADC to STAND WITH THE PEOPLE OF ZIMBABWE.
People are protesting against Constitutional Amendment No. 3 of 2026 and worsening economic conditions. In the past, speaking out has led to arrests, abductions, and crackdowns. We do not want more bloodshed.
SADC, as our regional body, you have a duty to:
1. **Protect human rights** - Right to peaceful assembly, freedom of expression, and freedom from torture
2. **Promote dialogue** - Facilitate talks between government, citizens, churches, and civic groups
3. **Monitor the situation** - Send observers and speak out against violence, arrests, and intimidation
Zimbabwe is part of SADC. When Zimbabweans suffer, the region suffers.
We are not asking for war. We are asking for protection, justice, and democracy.
Let July 31 be remembered for dialogue, not for crackdowns.
