Econet Zimbabwe has proved to be a Giant creating the biggest choral music event in Zimbabwe together with ZACMA - Zimbabwe Association of Choral & Music Arts. Two categories across the nation, the iJoy Afta Joy Choral Music Competition is by far the best currently in Zimbabwe. !st prize winners will walk away with USD10k prize money, which is a great difference from what other festivals offer and a leap from last year's USD2,5K. While we await surprise performances from our 2 defending champions, Heavenly Praises Chorus and the Sound of Joy Chorale, we have already seen that it's never going to be a walk in the park for the winners to be crowned. As they close the Finale, we await the next big thing from the partnership that has grown massively in 2 seasons. I guess the million-dollar question is "Are we going to have pre-composed pieces anytime soon"?
