We are really sad to learn about the passing of Maria McCloy. Her contribution to the creative space in Johannesburg is colossal and to us were a true friend who not only supported our work but also made the effort to visit our spaces in Harare, engage with artists and share their talent and stories to the world. She showed us what it meant to build community across borders.
