Team Name: Upskill Academy Robotics Club
Location: Harare, Zimbabwe
The Milestone: We recently won 1st place in the senior category at the AI for Good National Robotics Competition. Because of this milestone, we have been officially selected to represent Zimbabwe at the global robotics finals in Geneva, Switzerland, this July.
2. About Our Team (The Profile)
Who We Are: We are a community-based robotics club comprised of passionate secondary school students from local schools, including Oriel Boys High, Tafara 1 High, and Royal College.
Our Mission: To solve real-world problems using AI and robotics and raising our country’s flag high on the global stage.
Our Students:

3. Our Current Challenge & Fundraising Campaign
The Goal: To get our brilliant students and mentors to Geneva, we need to secure funding for travel logistics, visas, accommodation, and team outfitting.
Total Funding Needed: $15,000 USD
Timeline: We are working urgently to secure these funds this month to finalize crucial travel arrangements before our departure in July.
