Carved from the resilient agate stone of Mutoko, this sculpture tells a story of emergence: a bird rising from water, finding its wings, finding its freedom. The artist shapes the stone’s natural patterns into flowing movement, echoing the strength and hope woven into Zimbabwean folklore. More than a sculpture, it stands as a symbol of rising above, of becoming, and of stepping into a new chapter with courage.
