๐‡๐ž๐ซ๐ž'๐ฌ ๐ก๐จ๐ฐ ๐ก๐ž ๐๐ข๐ ๐ข๐ญ:
# Start by cleaning with Lacquer thinners
# Then started with my heat gun and a scraper to remove the paint on the top and Drawers.
# Then to my orbital sander to get the wood surfaces smooth
# Mixing 50/50 bottled water and Ishmaels eish I washed the top and drawers, applying with a brush and wiping back with a damp cloth
# The rest of the unit was painted in 3 coats David, allowing time to dry between coats
# I then secured my Tjhoko stencil in place and using a stencil brush and Cloud white applied my stencil.
leaving all to dry, I sealed the wood surfaces with undiluted Clear Glaze and the rest of the unit with 50/50 diluted glaze to reduce the sheen
# New Hardware added and she is ready for a new lease on life

We've seen an influx of new followers and thought we'd do a little introduction post and catch up on Tjhoko.

Back in 2016, when the colourful Tjhoko Paint (pronounced Chalk-o) journey began from humble beginnings, the mission was simple: to develop a chalk paint brand like no other. The brainchild of Nadine Vosloo, Tjhoko was developed, tested, and manufactured by Paint Master under three generations of paint expertise. The formulation, a high-quality, versatile chalk paint, has skyrocketed the brand's popularity internationally.

Focused on creating employment and empowerment, Tjhoko pays homage to the importance of every team member's role in the business by naming the colours in the range after them.

Tjhoko is in the business of producing exceptional paint. A vast colour range that contains everything from classic neutral tones to on-trend and bright hues makes our users spoilt for choice. Tjhoko's versatile formula includes a built-in primer and sealer, which means that surfaces need minimal preparation before painting: no sanding, no priming, and no tedious waxing needed afterwards. Tjhoko does have a Clear Glaze product that can be applied afterward to give a surface an extra layer of protection, making it UV, water, and stain-resistant. Our paint and sealer are water-based, non-toxic, and eco-friendly, which is easy on your hands and makes clean-up a breeze. For wall surfaces, Tjhoko's colour range is available in a high-quality range of low sheen wall paints.
