NEWS • Sylent Nqo & The Noisemakers and Mary Anibal are set to represent Zimbabwe at ACCES 2026 Africa’s leading music trade event, taking place in Johannesburg, South Africa, from 28–30 October.

The Zimbabwean acts join a strong pan-African line-up featuring Pilani Bubu, Abavuki, Francis Soal, Rorisang Sechele, The SN Project, The Joy, giuliette price and Mörda from South Africa; Ben Pol from Tanzania; Akra and FimFIm from Ghana; Chakires et le groupe Oulanga from Réunion/Comoros; and Senegal’s Def Mama Def.

This year, ACCES introduces a revised showcase festival format, with performances spread across more than five Johannesburg venues. Beyond the stage, the gathering will bring together artists, music professionals, policymakers and industry stakeholders for panel discussions, workshops, exhibitions, presentations, pitch sessions, networking and industry exchange.

More diaspora artists from Canada, Germany and the UK are expected to be announced.
