"DIFFERENCE IS WHAT DEFINES US"
Now, a lot of people think that difference is what divides us. Well, I’ll be happy to disagree... let me tell you a short story…
Once upon a time in the majestic country of Zimbabwe, inside a high-density suburb of Gweru called MAMBO lived an urban rat by the name of Gonzo, now Gonzo had relationship issues with his younger brother Gozho who lived across the city in the plots of Greenvale. Gozho thought of stepping by to see his brother who had been very quiet for a while. He reached the massive house which his brother dwelled in. Gonzo was so happy to see his brother the last time he had seen him was when he paid a visit in Greenvale only to be disappointed by the lifestyle of his brother which he considered so boring. “Welcome brother, finally I have a chance to convince you that the best thing to do is move to the city now let’s enter the house” said Gonzo as he led his brother inside the house through a hole connecting the outside drainage and the sink. Gozho was amazed by the big house, bright lights and obviously delicious food his brother enjoyed. They went through the bread bin and ate a little piece of left-over muffins and also drank some milk after tearing up the plastic package. Most excitedly was the peanut butter which was left smeared on the sink. The two rats relaxed under the old Sofa as they enjoyed TV. “So, this is your life brother, you were really right, I should join you” said Gozho as he explained to his frowning brother. “hush Gozho, you are making noise there is a cat here” Gonzo cautioned. Immediately Gozho’s ears in alarmed became like a triangle, his tail coiled upwards and he started trembling” A cat you say, I hate cats they are dangerous” Gozho said in a panicking voice. “Don’t worry brother, there is no way he can enter under the Sofa he’s too big and dumb. Just…” Gonzo could not finish the sentence after observing that the Sofa was being lifted leaving the two rats on bare ground without cover. “Kill those invaders and diseases carriers!!!” shouted an old lady instructing three young boys and a cat who surrounded the two rats. One of the boys holding his shoe in the air threw it at the rats and it came in force like a missile but fortunately for the rats missed them. Another lifted the broom in the air, bit his upper lip and opened his eyes wide as he tried to kill the rats with it. They scrambled looking for safety and only rested when they arrived down in a hole. Gozho told his brother that he could not this lifestyle as he preferred his freedom and safety more than awesome some…
WE ARE DIFFERENT DUE TO THE CHOICES WE MAKE, SOME CHOOSE RISKS TO ACHIEVE BIG WHILE OTHERS SIMPLY LIKE TO LIVE LIFE IN ITS SIMPLICITY AS LONG AS THEY, AND THOSE WHOM THEY LOVE ARE SAFE...
