e. The music will titillate you and the poetics will scintillate you. The story telling lines imbued with movement and serious stage physical presence. This is a story that brings nearer the memories which history has forgotten. The introduction of the “The Prez”(YOU) ,the man who has caused the pain on the children who are now fatherless. NoBulawayo pursues her quest to unveil the unraveled story of her people. She is the only standing Queen, the remaining voice to tell the story of a people who live between a rock and a hard surface. Her story brings hope, it stands to motivate a generation that remains a ghost amongst the living. NoBulawayo, in the musicals brings her entourage into remembering that General Josh was the commander and hence each Matabele child must be master of their destiny by being in command. Comrade Josh incarnate (Queen) comes in with bigger stature like “him”, her emotions take us through the day today struggles of every Matabeleland child. The beautifully weaved different languages representative of the plethora of forgotten languages. The stage physicality, the emotions, the movements, the musicality, and the breath bring the House of Joshua story near to every heart. It’s a story every Zimbabwean need to embrace, a story every generation need to put at heart and a narrative all world need to see Zimbabwe from before prescribing or forcing an agenda. The story ends with the call to bring the National Healing into clear and clean conclusion. The cry is for Zimbabwe to bleed from one wound and shed a same tear and have a Zimbabwe working together as a family. General Josh, stands a story that has surpassed the narration of a phoenix, he rises every day in the play to remind every child how their struggle must turn to a victory.
