AUTOMATION PERVERSION
Bloodstream virus crushing our system,
Infested by pixels,
An addiction to selfies.
Our neck are stiff,
Bowing down to our devices,
“Bluetooth mode,
Your device is connected successfully”
Our lives paired up with technology.
Brains become a backyard junkyard,
Where old scraps of authenticity are piled,
Waiting to be dumped on cobwebs of naivety.
Pure reasoning becomes a labyrinth,
Rusted, fissured and patched by fabrics of illusion.
Internet dimmed down old tradition,
Asking out a lady fetching water,
The smell of ink on a paper,
Drum row to add ambiance.
Sexting replacing the physical touch,
Scolding and being taught by elders,
Pornographic gestures turning into aunties.
Fabricated by the grease of idolatry,
Religion drapes over the coat of falsehood.
Sin binds a covenant with peer pressure,
And sky rockets into space,
In search of more space to breed lies into truth,
Launching satellites to be ashtrays of human intelligence.
We sold our souls to the tech,
Lean on clouds all day,
Thinking we are in paradise.
Bones disintegrate, muscles snore against labour,
Resisting the norms of craftsmanship.
What's next?
Will the next generation survive,
A world without automation perversion?
