Women and girls who are unable to manage their periods may feel isolated and ashamed. This can lead to mental health problems, such as anxiety and depression.

Our goal is to raise money for 300 sanitary pads that will be distributed to the less privileged and vulnerable communities around Solwezi. Feel free to donate sanitary products or any amount of cash.

Awareness of period poverty is increasing among men, but there is still a lot of work to be done. There are a number of things that men can do to help raise awareness of period poverty.

Men can talk to their friends and family about menstruation, and they can support organizations that are working to address the issue. Men can also advocate for policies that will make menstrual products more affordable and accessible.

JOIN THE FIGHT TO END PERIOD POVERTY BY TAKING PART IN THE K2 CHALLENGE

Our aim is to raise more awareness on women's health, particularly Menstrual Health. 300 sanitary pads will be donated to three orphanages within Solwezi and surrounding areas using the money raised from the challenge. The goal is to reach the vulnerable and less privileged.

DONATE K2 AND BE A PART OF THE FIGHT TO END PERIOD POVERTY

Did you know that 1 in 10 girls around the world miss school because they cannot afford menstrual products? This is a serious problem that has a negative impact on the lives of millions of girls and women.

Period poverty is the lack of access to sanitary products, menstrual hygiene education, toilets, handwashing facilities, or waste management. It can affect people of all genders, but disproportionately affects women and girls.

Our aim for this campaign as Royalty Zambia is to create awareness on Menstrual requirements and hygiene as well as raise money for 300 sanitary pads that will be given to girls in rural areas, orphanages and girls on the street. The campaign will run for 30 days.
