Schools will be fully opened next week!

We as the PSF look forward to a progressive term subsequently the rest of the year, our focus will be mainly secondary schools, we are ready to roll!

PSF PUBLIC SPEAKING GUIDE
The public speakers' forum's primary goal is to impart the art and skill of speaking in young people in secondary schools and in universities, taking into account our 'hands on' approach to have debates and other spoken word events, we are also embarking on an online training session through publishing notes on effective public speaking ranging from the basic question about HOW TO SPEAK to the deep end of HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR SPEAKING SKILL.

Therefore, we will be publishing notes from the scratch about public speaking for beginners to how to perfect the art right here on our page, we shall value all feedback as it'll enable us to know what to do better.

PSF DEBATE TOURNAMENT

Yesterday(28-05-21), Kansenshi school of excellence hosted a three school secondary school debate tournament, initially we were supposed to have four schools but one pulled out.
That didn't hold us back as we forged ahead, the first session was between Kansenshi school of excellence and Kamba secondary school, the second session was between Kamba secondary school and Northrise combined school and the third group session was between Kansenshi school of excellence and Northrise combined school of excellence and the scores were as follows:

1st session: Kansenshi 604-563 Kamba
2nd session Northrise 632-596 Kamba
3rd session Northrise 643-618 Kansenshi

This saw the two 'Excellence' schools instantly proceed to the final where a random motion was introduced and after the battles, the standings were as follows:
Kansenshi school of excellence 670-640 Northrise Combined school of excellence.

The best two speakers of the tournament came from the victors. As a founder member of the public speakers forum i must say we are delighted with the successful preparing and hosting of this event which is our first event to organize, we as the PSF appreciate the collaboration of the schools that were in attendance.

The public speakers' forum-PSF Zambia is a consortium of intellects founded by Melvin Chanda and Mukuka Jackson Nawa, the consortium seeks to identify, coach, mentor and provide public speaking fora for secondary school pupils and university as well as college students through debate.
The PSF's motto is "Re-igniting the speaking flame", from the motto itself, one is able to tell that our primary goal is not to only train debaters but public speakers, therefore, we shall establish ourselves in secondary schools as clubs as time goes by to make it easy to get hold of these talented, blessed and marvelous speakers.
