MWIIMBU ADOPTED AS UPND CANDIDATE FOR MONZE EAST CONSTITUENCY

United Party for National Development (UPND) Monze East Constituency candidate Jack J. Mwiimbu, SC, has expressed gratitude to Republican President Hakainde Hichilema for endorsing his candidature ahead of the upcoming elections.

According to his message on page, Mr. Mwiimbu said he received the endorsement with “deep humility and a profound sense of responsibility,” describing it as a great honour to serve the people of Monze East.

He also thanked the United Party for National Development leadership, the people of Monze, and Zambians across the country for their support during the adoption process.

“This victory is not mine alone. It belongs to every ordinary citizen, youth, woman, and elder who stood firm behind our shared vision,” he said.

The UPND candidate extended a message of reconciliation to fellow aspirants, urging unity following the conclusion of internal party selections.

He said the time for internal competition was over, calling on members to work together as a united front ahead of the 13th August elections.

Mr. Mwiimbu further urged intensified mobilisation and campaigning to secure victory for President Hakainde Hichilema and the UPND, adding that unity and discipline will be key to achieving the party’s national goal.

He reaffirmed his commitment to serve the people of Monze East with integrity, humility, and dedication, while calling for peace and focus as the campaign period progresses.
