UPCOMING ARTISTS URGED TO TAKE MUSIC AS A SERIOUS BUSINESS

CK WEST Music Promotions CEO Francis Kaite has urged upcoming artists to take music as a serious business.

Popularly known as DJ Defranz Zambia, Francis observes that the reason upcoming artists fail to make it to the top is because they easily become 'big headed'.

"Ma Upcoming artists one simple reason why we don't blow up early is because we feel too big, even bigger than the people that promote us," he posted on his page monitored by NewAge.

Defranz adds that if upcoming arts gets Radio airplays does not mean one has already made a name, adding that there is more to it than just getting a Radio Airplay and putting one's songs on the website.

"Take music as a Business, invest in it and you will thank me later," he adds.

DJ Defranz Zambia is one of the youngest music promoters in the country and has produced a number of artists to his name.
