👇🐔Poor timing in feeding broiler chickens

Poor timing is not about what feed you use,
it’s about when and how you give it.

1️⃣ Late morning feeding

When birds wake up hungry and feed comes late:

They overeat suddenly

Digestion is poor

Feed conversion drops

👉 Always feed early morning.

2️⃣ Heavy feeding during hot afternoon 🌡️

This is a common mistake.

Birds don’t eat well in heat

Feed stays in the feeder

Wastage increases

👉 Reduce feed during hot hours.
Main feeding should be early morning and evening.

3️⃣ Irregular feeding time

Today 7am, tomorrow 11am.

Birds love routine.
Irregular timing causes stress and uneven growth.

👉 Feed at same time daily.

4️⃣ Overfeeding at night

Some farmers pour plenty feed at night.

Birds overeat

Water belly risk

Sudden death at night

👉 Moderate feeding at night, not excess.

5️⃣ Feeding without enough water

Feed without water is dangerous.

Birds eat and choke

Digestion slows

Growth reduces

👉 Water must come before feed, always.

6️⃣ Ignoring age and growth stage

Same feeding style from day-old to 6 weeks?

That’s poor timing.

Chicks eat little but often.
Older birds eat more but need timing control.

Simple feeding rhythm that works

Early morning: main feeding

Afternoon: light feed (if weather is cool)

Evening: second main feeding

Water: 24/7, clean and cool

Farmer truth

Feed given at the wrong time
is as bad as poor-quality feed.

Good timing improves:

Growth

Feed conversion

BANANA PLANTATION AND BUSINESS

There are between 300-1,000+ varieties of bananas in the world.

Sweet Banana (Mawz) is a herbaceous plant of the Musaceae family. It is a fast-growing, evergreen, and perennial plant. Its flowers are yellow. It has a strong and sweet aroma. It blooms year-round. It is cultivated around the world for landscaping in private gardens or public parks.

Sweet banana characteristics
Sweet banana is the largest herbaceous plant in the world. However, it is erroneously considered a tree. The banana corm is a pseudostem formed of leaves and blades. It can grow between two and nine months. Sweet banana is a hybrid species of Musa balbisiana and Aduminata. It is native to the humid tropical areas of Asia.

Sweet bananas are grown through partition and separation from the main plant. Upon blooming and fruiting, green leaves fade, and new flowers bloom. Bananas grow together, forming a robust bunch and giving their cultivation site an aesthetically pleasing aspect.

Cultivation of sweet bananas
The leaves of sweet bananas grow up to around 2.7 m and have a width of around sixty cm. Winds can cut through banana leaves, making them similar to palm fronds. Hence, bananas shall be cultivated in non-windy areas. Bananas bloom into simple purple, heart-shaped buds bearing pink clusters emanating from the banana corm and growing into the pseudostem. The pink cluster comprises groups of six to fourteen flowers spirally placed upon the cluster.

Uses of sweet banana
Sweet bananas can bloom and produce fruit throughout the year since they are native to tropical areas. Sweet bananas are infected by Panama disease, a disease that infects banana roots and is caused by fungus species. However, this disease is not hazardous when sweet bananas are cultivated for landscaping in private gardens or public parks. Being cold-intolerant, sweet bananas are planted in protected areas.

Business
Banana's are in demand across the world for varies reasons. A Lima (50m x 50m) will give you 280 to 400 banana bunches and each bunch in Zambia is selling between k250 to k350 ($12.5 to $17.5). An average bunch has between 100 to150 fingers, each finger cost between k3 to k5 depending with location and market demands.

How Many Bags of Fertilizer You Need for Maize per Hectare and per Acre

Before planting maize, farmers need to know how much fertilizer to use. Using the right amount helps maize grow well, produce large cobs, give good grain yield, and save money. Too little fertilizer leads to poor growth, and too much wastes money and can damage the soil.

Fertilizer is measured in kilograms per hectare. One standard bag weighs 50 kg. Most maize fields need 200–400 kg per hectare, depending on soil fertility, rainfall, and yield goals.

A hectare is bigger than an acre, so fertilizer needed per acre is less.

* 1 hectare = 2.471 acres
* 1 bag = 50 kg
* Bags per hectare = kg per hectare ÷ 50
* Kg per acre = kg per hectare ÷ 2.471
* Bags per acre = kg per acre ÷ 50

Fertilizer needed per hectare

* 200 kg → 4 bags
* 250 kg → 5 bags
* 300 kg → 6 bags
* 350 kg → 7 bags
* 400 kg → 8 bags

Fertilizer needed per acre

* 200 kg/ha → 81 kg/acre → about 1.5 bags
* 250 kg/ha → about 2 bags
* 300 kg/ha → about 2.5 bags
* 350 kg/ha → about 3 bags
* 400 kg/ha → just over 3 bags

**Fertilizer programs**

* Low-input: 200 kg/ha (4 bags)
* Standard: 300 kg/ha, split between planting and top-dressing
* High-yield: 400 kg/ha (8 bags)

Soil fertility affects how much fertilizer you need. Rich soils may need less, poor soils may need more.

**Why correct fertilizer matters**
The right amount helps maize germinate well, grow strong, develop healthy roots, produce large cobs, and give high grain yield. It also prevents waste and helps with budgeting.

Do a soil test if possible. It shows exactly what your soil needs, so you can apply the correct amount. Proper planning helps your maize reach its full potential.

THE BANANA BOOST: THE SECRET TO SUPERCHARGING YOUR PEPPER PLANTS NATURALLY

Gardening is an age-old practice filled with surprising tricks and organic techniques passed down through generations. Among these, one natural, cost-free hack stands out for pepper growers: burying a chopped banana before planting peppers. Though it might sound unconventional, this approach is grounded in science and has been validated by home gardeners and horticulturists alike. When used correctly, this method can significantly enhance the health, yield, and flavor of your pepper plants—without a single drop of synthetic fertilizer.

WHY PEPPERS DEMAND A NUTRIENT BOOST

Peppers are nutrient-hungry crops. Whether you're growing sweet bell peppers or hot chilies, these plants need a rich supply of nutrients to reach their full potential. Their long growing season and fruit-heavy nature mean they rely on a soil environment that’s:

Nutrient-dense

Well-draining

Consistently moist

Full of beneficial microbes

In particular, peppers thrive on potassium, phosphorus, calcium, magnesium, and other essential micronutrients. These elements support everything from flower production and fruit set to root strength and disease resistance.

That’s where the humble banana comes in.

THE NUTRITIONAL POWER OF A BANANA

A ripe or overripe banana (including the peel) is a miniature fertilizer bomb packed with nutrients that pepper plants love. As it decomposes, it delivers a slow and steady stream of critical elements:

Potassium (K): Crucial for fruiting, flowering, and boosting immunity

Phosphorus (P): Encourages strong root development and overall vigor

Calcium (Ca): Prevents blossom-end rot, strengthens plant cell walls

Magnesium (Mg): Vital for chlorophyll production and photosynthesis

Sulfur (S): Helps in producing essential amino acids and vitamins

Trace Minerals: Includes zinc, copper, manganese, and iron—each supporting enzyme production and plant metabolism

The best part? These nutrients are released gradually, offering a time-released nutrient package right at the root zone.

HOW TO USE A BANANA WHEN PLANTING PEPPERS

Ready to try it in your garden? Follow these simple steps:

STEP 1: CHOP THE BANANA

Use a ripe or overripe banana (including the peel). Chop it into small chunks. The smaller the pieces, the quicker it will decompose and begin feeding the plant.

STEP 2: PREPARE THE PLANTING HOLE

Dig a hole about 6–8 inches deep—enough to accommodate both the banana chunks and the root ball of your pepper seedling.

STEP 3: PLACE THE BANANA PIECES

Drop the banana pieces into the bottom of the hole. Spread them evenly to form a nutrient base.

STEP 4: COVER WITH SOIL

Add a 2-inch layer of soil over the banana pieces. This buffer protects the young plant's roots from direct contact with decomposing organic matter, preventing root burn.

STEP 5: PLANT YOUR PEPPER

Set your pepper plant on top of the soil layer. Fill in around the plant and water thoroughly to settle the soil.

THE SCIENCE BEHIND THE RESULTS

This trick works so well because it leverages the principle of localized feeding. Unlike top-layer fertilizers that can wash away with watering or rain, the nutrients from the banana are placed directly in the root zone. As the roots grow downward, they encounter and absorb the nutrients precisely when and where they need them most.

The decomposition of banana matter also:

Improves soil texture

Attracts beneficial microbes and worms

Increases soil fertility over time

This is especially crucial for peppers, which require stable, long-term access to nutrients during their extended fruiting phase.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Gardeners who use this method commonly report:

Faster germination and early growth

More blossoms and bigger fruits

Greener foliage and thicker stems

Improved drought resistance

Fewer pest problems and diseases

Better-tasting, more nutrient-dense harvests

And they achieve all this without synthetic chemicals or expensive fertilizers.

BONUS BOOSTERS: COMBINE FOR EVEN GREATER RESULTS

To supercharge this method, try combining your chopped banana with other kitchen waste:

Crushed eggshells: High in calcium, prevent blossom-end rot

Used coffee grounds: Rich in nitrogen, promote leafy growth

Composted vegetable scraps: Improve overall soil fertility

You can also add a small handful of bone meal or worm castings to introduce phosphorus and beneficial microbes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

Can I use frozen bananas?
Yes! Freezing overripe bananas is a great way to store them until planting season.

Will buried bananas attract pests?
When properly buried and covered with soil, bananas decompose without attracting pests. Avoid leaving chunks near the surface.

Does this work in containers?
Absolutely! Just ensure you have enough depth in your container to bury the banana at least 2 inches below the plant's roots.

A NATURAL SOLUTION FOR HEALTHIER PLANTS

Burying a chopped banana beneath your pepper plant is more than a garden hack—it’s a smart, sustainable gardening strategy. It’s easy, eco-friendly, and effective. Best of all, it turns something many people throw away into a powerful tool for lush, productive growth.

So next time you enjoy a banana, consider saving it—not for a smoothie, but for your soil. Your pepper plants will repay you with bigger, better, tastier harvests.

Inspired by this natural gardening secret? Share it with a fellow green thumb and let the peppers flourish!

*Knowledge is key*
*What is the biological phenomenon that appears in human gradual loss of muscle mass, strength and function when they are growing older?*

This is known as *Sarcopenia*!

*Sarcopenia* is a gradual loss of muscle mass, strength and function... the loss of skeletal muscle mass and strength as a result of aging... The situation may be terrible, depends on individual.

Let's explore & analyze multiple ways to prevent *sarcopenia* thus:
1. Develop the habit, if you're able to stand... just don't sit, and don't lie down if you can sit!

2. Whenever an elderly person falls ill, and get admitted to the hospital, do not ask him/her for more rest, or to lie down, relax and/or not get out of bed... It's not helpful. Help them take a walk... Except if they lost stamina to do so.

Lying down for a week causes loss of at least 5% of muscle mass! And unfortunately, the elderly can't recover the loss muscles!

Usually, most seniors/elderly who hire assistants loses muscle faster than the active ones!

3. *Sarcopenia* is more terrifying than osteoporosis!

With osteoporosis, one just need to be careful not to fall, while sarcopenia not only affects the quality of life but also causes high blood sugar due to insufficient muscle mass!

4. The fastest loss of muscles (atrophy) is through idleness in muscles of the legs...

Because when in sitting or lying position, the legs do not move, and the strength of the muscles of the legs are directly affected... This is especially important to pay unto utmost attention!

Going up and down stairs... walking, running and cycling are all great exercises, and can increase muscle mass!

For a better quality of life at old age... Move... & don't waste your muscles!!

Aging starts from the feet upwards!

Keep your legs active and strong!!

▪️ As we grow older on a daily basis, our feet should always stay active and strong.

If you don't move your legs for just 2 weeks, your real leg strength will decrease by 10 years.

Therefore, *regular exercises such as walking, cycling etc. are very important*.

The feet are a kind of columns that bear the entire weight of the human body.... So,

*_Walk every day!_*

WISDOM FROM RICH DAD.-𝗗𝗿 𝗙𝗔𝗠𝗜

From the book Rich DAD Poor DAD,
by Robert Kiyosaki

1. Don’t work for money:

Rich don’t work for money. If you work for money, your mind will start thinking like an employee. If you start thinking differently like a rich man, you will see things differently. Rich works on their asset column, every dollar in their asset column is their hard-working employee.

2. Don’t be controlled by emotions:

Some people’s lives are always controlled by the two emotions of fear and greed. Fear keeps people in this trap of working hard, earning money, working hard, earning money, and hoping that it will reduce their fear. Secondly, most of us have the greed to get rich quickly. Yes, many people become rich overnight, but they have no financial education. So educate yourself and don’t be greedy or fearful.

3. Acquire assets:

Don’t buy liabilities on your way to financial freedom. People buy liabilities and think these are assets, but they are not. Many people buy luxuries first, like big cars, heavy bikes, or big houses to live in. But the rich buy assets and their assets buy luxuries. The rich buy houses and rent them, and they pay them for their Lamborghinis. The poor or middle class buy luxuries first, and the rich buy luxuries last.

4. Remember the KISS principle:

KISS stands for keeping it simple, and stupid. Don’t be too overloaded your mind when you are going to start your way to financial freedom. Things are simple and keep them simple. The simple thing to remember is assets put money in pocket and liabilities take money out of pocket. Always buy assets so they put money into your pocket.

5. Know the difference between assets and liabilities:

Assets are anything that puts money in your pocket, like stocks, bonds, real estate, mutual funds, rental properties, etc. Liabilities are anything that pulls money out of your pocket, like your house, your car, debt, etc. People think their home is their biggest asset, but it is not. A house is an asset when it generates money like when you rent a house, it generates money, and when your life in that house becomes a liability.

6. Don’t be a financial illiterate:

A person can be highly educated and become successful in their profession, but financially illiterate. Financial education is very important for any individual. Our schools and colleges did not teach us financial education. Many financial problems arise as a result of a lack of financial education. Start learning financial education and I suggest you read the book "Rich Dad, Poor Dad".

7. Increase your Wealth:

Wealth is defined as a person's ability to survive for a certain number of days in the future, or how long they could survive if they stopped working today. Consider your wealth and whether you would survive if you stopped working today for a year.

8. Mind your own business:

If you have a job, keep your job and start a part-time business and work it. Use the time that you spend on your iPhone, parties, or any other activity, to build your business. Never leave your job until you build your own business. Don’t struggle all of your life for someone else. Start your own business and grow your business.

9. Train your mind:

Your biggest asset is your mind. Many individuals watch opportunities with their eyes, but if you train your mind, you can see opportunities with your mind. If you train your mind well, it can create enormous wealth.

10. Learn technical skills:

Your financial IQ will be raised by learning these four technical skills:

Accounting is defined as the ability to read numbers. If you want to build an empire, then this is an essential skill. By learning this skill, you will be able to understand the strength and weaknesses of a business.

Investing: It is the science of making money.
Understanding markets: It is the science of supply and demand.

The Law: A person who has knowledge of the law of tax advantages and corporations can get rich faster than others.

11. Find opportunities that everyone else missed:

"Great opportunities are not seen with your eyes. They are seen with your mind. "

You can see many more opportunities with your mind than many people miss with their eyes. It is not rocket science, you just need to train your mind.

12. Learn to manage risk:

Investment is not risky, not knowing the investment is risky. If you want to reduce the risk, then increase your knowledge. This knowledge will not come by going to college, it will come by reading books or sitting with people who know the investment.

13. Learn management:

The main management skills are:

Management of cash flow
Management of system
Management of people
Sales and marketing are the most essential skills. The ability to sell and the ability to communicate with another human being, be it a customer, employee, fiancé, friend, or child, is a basic skill of personal success.

14. Manage fear:

“Failure inspires winners. Failure defeats losers.”

Everyone has a fear of losing money.

May God bless you financially.
