Orphanage Help Inc. tackles real problems with practical solutions in the trenches - the case of street children.
Orphanage Help Inc. successfully hosted 'A Meal with Street Kids' at the Manda Hill Shopping Mall bridge, shedding light on the challenges faced by street children and the support they need. Over 100 street kids attended and enjoyed the meal and discussions.
The event highlighted the reality of street children, exemplified by a mother's plea to give up her 2-year-old due to harsh conditions. Orphanage Help Inc. is working with the local government to provide sustainable assistance for the child.
The event was made possible through collaboration with Empower 360 and other partners. Orphanage Help Inc. addresses unique problems faced by the poor in many economically challenged nations at the grassroots level, away from curated PR messaging. These challenges include limited access to basic services, high unemployment, and limited social protection.
To tackle these challenges, the organization uses a comprehensive approach involving government, civil society, and community-led initiatives. This approach focuses on investing in basic services, social protection programs, agriculture, ICT access, and inclusive governance.
