Youth in Uganda are the youngest population in the world, with 77% of its population being under 25 years of age.There are 7,310,386 youth from the ages of 15–24 years of age living in Uganda.

As a country we need to create educational, economic and career opportunities for this group.

On June 6 2023 I received a call from CHATT Africa, inviting me to represent youth in the leather value Chain. I was turning 35 on this particular day and as per the African Union range, the youth age range is 18- 35. I nearly missed.

As I participate in the AFCFTA Youth Symposium this year, I look forward to working with fellow African youth to create sustainable solutions for the Africa continent that can nurture and promote youth development opportunities.
