"Experience the heartwarming unity that football sparks among Zambians, bridging gaps of age, gender, and tribe. A special song has been crafted to capture this shared spirit, inviting all Zambians to come together and celebrate our national team.

Born out of a genuine sense of patriotism, the song is the collaborative effort of Mag44, Macky2, Shimasta, Chanda Na Kay, Jay Rox, Mozegeta, Towela, Chile One, Wezi, Chef187, Abel Chungu, and BareFeet.

In the essence of national pride, this melody aims to resonate with every Zambian, creating a sense of togetherness that transcends differences. Join in, as we stand united, supporting our national team with a harmonious tune that reflects the collective spirit of our diverse nation."

Zambian MusicBlog (ZMB) Mourns the Passing of Founder Philip Mutika Jr., AKA Phil Dill

It is with immense sadness that we announce the passing of Zambian music pioneer and founder of the Zambian Music Blog (ZMB), Philip Mutika Jr., also known as Phil Dill. Phil Dill passed away peacefully in the late hours of Thursday, December 21, 2023, leaving behind a legacy of championing Zambian music and artists on a global platform.
Phil Dill's passion for music began at a young age, leading him to pursue a career in radio and media. In 2008, he founded the Zambian Music Blog, a platform that revolutionized the way Zambian music was accessed, shared, and promoted. ZMB became a cornerstone for Zambian musicians, providing them with a vital platform to showcase their talent and connect with audiences worldwide.
Beyond ZMB, Phil Dill's dedication to the Zambian music industry was tireless. He served as a music consultant, event organizer, and mentor to countless artists, always striving to elevate the profile of Zambian music on the international stage. His infectious enthusiasm and unwavering support earned him the respect and admiration of musicians, fans, and industry professionals alike.
Phil Dill was not only a music enthusiast but also a kind and generous soul. His infectious smile and genuine personality lit up every room he entered. He touched the lives of everyone he met with his warmth, humor, and unwavering belief in the power of music.
His absence leaves a void in the Zambian music landscape, but his impact will continue to resonate through the countless artists he empowered and the platform he built. Phil Dill's legacy lives on in the vibrant music scene he helped cultivate, and his spirit will forever remain a guiding light for future generations of Zambian musicians.
We extend our deepest condolences to Phil Dee's family, friends, and the Zambian music community during this difficult time. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.
