🎬 KBN TV × CITY Film
Had an amazing conversation with KBN TV about MATERO CITY — a new Zambian youth crime drama exploring ambition, education, music, love, survival, and the consequences of our choices.
We talked about the world of Matero, the characters, the vision behind the story, and why these are stories worth bringing to the screen.
Six lives. One city. Choices that connect them all.

**Happy Birthday to me — Director Portfolio. 🎬❤️**

Today, I’m not only celebrating another year of life. I’m celebrating the **dreams, the losses, the wins, the lessons, and the clarity God has given me to see beyond what is in front of me.**

I thank God for making me a vessel for the ex*****on of the ideas He has placed in my heart, and for giving me the courage to keep creating even when the journey has not been easy.

So, ladies and gentlemen…

🎬 **I PRESENT TO YOU: MATERO CITY.**

A story born from the streets, the people, the dreams, the struggles, and the energy of **Matero, Lusaka.**

**MATERO CITY** is a youth-driven crime drama that explores ambition, survival, education, music, love, friendship, and the consequences of the choices we make.

It is a story about young people trying to find their way in a city where **opportunity and danger can exist on the very same street.**

And this September, we bring it to life.

🎥 **MATERO CITY begins production in September 2026, in partnership with MultiChoice.**

This project means more to me than simply making another film. It represents a dream I have carried, developed, fought for, and finally decided to bring to the screen.

So this year, instead of only sharing my birthday pictures…

**HELP ME SHARE THE DREAM.**

Share **MATERO CITY.**
Talk about it.
Tell someone from Matero.
Tell a young person who needs to see their reality represented.
Tell a filmmaker who believes our stories deserve to be seen.

Because this is bigger than me.

**Every street has a story.
Every choice has a price.**

And this is only the beginning.

We are a product of our environment.
I was privileged to been directed by a big brother from our community MR COSMAS NG'ANDWE at a very young age. In my primary.
Ask me of determination I will point at him right here. I remember the days of traumatize (the movie). The days we would act from house to house, just to fundraise money for the project.
Bro that level of determination is unmatched, those skills lives with some of us till now.
Am a proud young brother seeing you archiving some of your dreams. U are a great impact & u derseve nothing less than this🥳🥂. Legendary. Thank you for always Dreaming big .
From a proud brother & film maker
