Road works using the newly procured grader by Lumezi Town Council have commenced, now that the skies are unlikely to deliver rainfall activities.

The works commenced on the stretch leading to Lumezi Mission Hospital and will later be extended to other parts of the district based on applications from community members.

The council earlier this year bought a grader at K2,030,000 using the 2022 Constituency Development Fund community projects allocation.

On Saturday, Lumezi area Member of Parliament, Hon. Munir Zulu commissioned the grader at Lumezi Sub-Centre.
