‎BE BOLD

‎To be yourself in a world were everybody oftentimes pushes to to look like a certain somebody choose you.

‎But is doing that easy?

‎Well truth is it isn't because non in this life comes easy. You'll discover to say you're still learning yourself in this life,

‎The more you grow the newer you get and the syllabus keeps adding on, but still in the middle of the Chios the voice still echos and reminds you to be BOLD and do you know how do you go about it?

‎I know this might not sound so like you but hey I thought I share what works for me.

‎I pick up small pieces of me that I understand and focus on those.

‎I look for a part of me that's happy and live with it. I know we oftentimes break right? it's normal and it's ok because we are not perfect we are meant to break but once I get to the breaking point I allow myself time to heal accept my situation to get back up online because life waits for no one .

‎I keep a small circle of individuals that love me and note "love me" to love means someone will tell you the hardest of truth even when it does not sit well with you. They tell you that so you can change, grow as a person to glow the outer you they understand that once you progress then they do too.

‎Never copy other people's style as your own. Its good to be inspired and so when you do add that to what you've learnt and create something magical something that will not define someone else when they see you, be original, be bold.

‎Accept help because no man is an island we all need a little push to get to were we dream to be.

‎If you're following this good.

‎Now restart always put prayer first in all your endeavors know their is a God somewhere above heavens.

‎Know that life wasn't something that came by chance, it was purposed by a higher being, give thanks that you're here to experience the moment and write your story.

‎As you write your story remember not to compare yourself with anybody, you're unique you're amazing and hold a light to add to this world, master your craft be bold and see you grow to something beautiful.

See you on the next

‎And yes give me a release date guys whenever you're ready I am.

AND THE DREAMER SAID!

‎We are not living to impress anyone
‎We are growing and living life trying to survive.

‎So I don't care what you think when we cross path and in your opinion I look starved.

‎We are different people that is why we are built differently

‎We live life differently.

‎Some days we are broke and most of the time it's funny that you only have enough to see you just through the month.

‎You'd look at me and think munang'ani mambala uyu aii.

‎Trust me if you have an opportunity and made it that far am happy for you.

just don't go about judging others because ulemoneka filya.

I FEEL LIKE BUGA WITH THE TRANSFORMATION!

Yeah I said it, I feel like with the transformation , no question.

It's the very question I ask each time I get behind this mic, what is it that am going to speak that will affect the next person in a way that changes their life?

It's a lifestyle to demean others and curse and get abusive and yeah to most of you it's sexy, it's being theee Artist right?

I look at art and look at something big

Art is meant to save souls.
Art is meant to speak not just catch trends.
Art is knowing were our boundaries end and the next persons begins at.

I said I feel like at with the transformation and I meant it.

This isn't about me seeking to catch trends

I appreciate every little intentionality around this man how he shapes what he speaks, his actions what he puts out and a lot we can speak about

But one honest truth is look at Bugar and tell me yourself what do you see around this man that's petty and damaging as was?

Aside being imperfect yes true minor treats be their but it's the trying it's the growth it's how deliberate he Is now that will even make this man achieve greatness around everything he puts his hands on.

Instead of breaking souls, why not build them with what we say?

Why not build a generation of people that actually care and feel unlike us being the junkies that created off a lost hope we once shared?

I look at poetry and I see something deeper.

writing what to say and how I say it behind this mic, matters and am not saying this to impress nobody.

I hear you when you diss me fellow poets.

Me being mute about it isn't weakness I just don't have the time to feed my soul with something negative.

We are growing and not going back.

Some day these posts will speak louder than the art we put out.

Louder than the persons we pretend to be behind closed doors and until that time comes, bro I pray you get the

healing you deserve
The love you don't get
The attention that's honest not anything fake
And for you to be seen, really seen.

Peace guys

And oh congratulations are in order for winning sir king Buga Macky 2 we see you and believe the time to speak is now and with you.

GOOD FRIDAY

in a bid to create we oftentimes create content that goes against our moral standards just so we can catch trend.

it kills the person's that we are we forget the reason to as why we started and lose it along the way.

I once read a story by Emily Hakoola she said

" And our talents are vessels that are meant to help others be better persons"

and for some reasons I found this resonating too much

we make music and Whatever forms of art we practice and feel like we are liberty of doing anything.

we look at our fellow humans like they matter less

Art was meant to improve our inner selves to serve the universal being that gave it to us.

and part of how can be in service to him is be this mirror that reflects what people really are.

to help them grow and become better.
and it's what I plan on doing with these poems.

poetry to me is something deeper than just sitting in from of a mic and talk.

it's healing for me
them I pass it to the next person the person listening.

it's a gift one I intend to hold with both my hands.

we all can make the world a better place
it's what we do that gets us to that goal.

remember Rome wasn't built in one day.
so until then let's create
let's live free and be happy.

AND THE DREAMER SAID!

Eloquence expression doesn't make an opinion wise.

Every soul has a talent given them.find out what yours is, put it to good use.

talents are meant to help us make others better vessels of themselves to grow be better persons.

If they make you feel prideful lose the vessel on you that owns them.

the world is a better place.
with you on it be more human.

HAPPY TO BE HERE LADS

In a bid to create we often time undergo a lot that can't be experienced by external factors outside us and that is the beauty of art.

I recall someone asking me a question on radio saying " are you satisfied with how the poetry scene is in kabwe and Zambia at large? "

Well this took me back to as why I started this all things.

I'm into this industrial because I love Art in poetry form it's another extension of me, simply put if you take it away then I cease to exist.

Am I satisfied with were we are I said yes because look we are coming from an era were people and everybody didn't know what spoken word is

An era were selling out events and open mics was something not known here.

But right now I appreciate the fact that people know what the world means when they say "oh their goes a poet"

They've embraced what they are,
Because life itself is poetry and we are just vessels that certifying that fact.

We might not be in a space were poets are able to sale shows and get deals get signed by big brands and the likes.

But I look at the future and I see a lot
I see poetry in art form a genre that's independent
And be able to compete with other forms of Art.

So right now am satisfied to be in a space were I help pioneer this genre and living life creatively and not letting each second pass me by.

And oh yes those that called and said " Bakamba ba miles take your time to create pantu muli ba last " lol I see you and honestly am glad to see the patience to say even when we take Abit longer to put out new poetry you guys can wait.

And honestly this all will be compensated for.

But in the mean time let's all be safe out their be a brothers keeper and be a little more human towards people around us

The world has a lot of issues that are affecting people hence the sour moods around us.

See you on the Next

Happy World Poetry Day

‎Ten months ago marks the date to our last release of art in form of spoken word poetry.
‎Many of you have reached out, called and kept in communication to as,

‎When are you releasing a new piece of poetry?

‎We’ve not abandoned you nor have we neglected the art.

‎Ten months ago now, marks a year since we put out Utushimi, A body of poetry that speaks all stories

‎that surround Africa and since then, the silence spoke.

‎Not in a way to neglect but ponder over
‎Not in a way that we gave up but we passed time to heal and grow
‎To become better persons and speak not just speak but
‎To foster the peace and demand the change that we want to see.

‎And so?

We’ve been creating.

‎not just story poetry
‎but a voice, that speaks stories that demands the change we need to be.
‎Poetry that is African and is a mirror reflection of what Ubuntu should and must be.

‎Poetry that wears a black skin and is vintage.
‎Poetry that just does not flirt sound but when it speaks?

‎Souls dine and dance

‎And so? We’ve been creating.
‎not just story poetry

‎but a voice,

that speaks stories
that demands the change we need to be.
‎Poetry that is African and is a mirror reflection of what Ubuntu should and must be.

‎Poetry that wears a black skin and is vintage.
‎Poetry that just does not flirt sound but when it speaks?

‎Souls dine and dance

That is why we say be a little bit patient with us for we are about to speak

For patience is a virtue and this time the silence was right.

And oh in a bid to make poetry a bridge for peace and inclusions,

(Power Fm kabwe) has collaborated and hosted the household poetry name in kabwe Miles Kalyamba

for four year now in a row we are also honored to be part of this big achievement.
