Mali expels Ambassador of France over 'hostile and outrageous' French comments

Mali on Monday gave the French ambassador 72 hours to leave the country after "hostile and outrageous" comments by former colonial power France about its transitional government, it said in a statement read on national television.

French envoy Joel Meyer was summoned earlier Monday by the West African country's foreign ministry and instructed to leave over "hostile and outrageous statements" by French authorities targeted at the junta, a military spokesman said in a statement.

According to CNN report "The government of the Republic of Mali informs the national and international community that this day, Monday, 31 January 2022, the ambassador of France to Mali his excellency Joel Meyer was called by the Minister of Foreign Affairs And international cooperation, who notified him of the decision of the government instructing him to leave the country within 72 hours," the statement said.
The ultimatum comes barely one week after Mali severed diplomatic ties with France, announcing a change to its official language from French to Bambara, and ordering French troops to evacuate its territory, according to a recent communique.

I disagree with Museveni on the issue of Current African Coups. THE VOTE doesn't necessarily equate to democracy (or Justice) and indeed, without economic freedom, political freedom doesn't mean much.

True democracy can only happen in communism, partial, but democracy of majority can happen under socialism, but what sort of freedom does a person who could starve without a job in a couple of weeks?

Unless basic means of production like farmland, mines, and other natural resources are commonly owned by community, how can members of that community be free, if they have to work for the benefit of a few "owners" or starve as Maynard Keynes once said about capitalism 'the extraordinary belief that the nastiest of men for the nastiest of motives will somehow work for the benefit of all ', are you free? The military coups provide hope that Leaders can look well after citizens, provide social care centered and provide for the people, to build a better democracy than the African and other oligarchs had been abusing.
