The latest dance competition in South Africa to take over Limpopo - Zebediela !

The annual Club10HVP (Hip Hop vs Pantsula) Dance Off Competition is the platform where the latest sounds like – Sho Majozi “Huku” will meet Boity “Bakae”, Gqom vs Trap as Hip Hop dancers & Pantsula dancers compete for the prestigious Club10 HVP Best Dance Crew title.

Brought to you by Club10Tavern in proud association with Amstel Beer, Tanqueray Gin and Savanna Cider, presenting the most distinguished all styles dance clash that will be kicked off with the highly anticipated Auditions on the31st of May and the Finale on the 1st of June. Taking place at the “Black Moon The Joint” in Zebediela.

Club10HVP Dance Off Competition is aimed at contributing to the development and support of the dancing community. The competition is destined to be the largest in the province’s history drawing dance crews from all over the country, coming to compete. The competition will give opportunity for dancers, their supporters and the public to attend a concert lasting 4 hours featuring the best dance talent Polokwane has to offer. The winners walk away with a R15 000 cash prize + Trophy + medals and hampers. Second place receives a cash prize of R10 000+ medals and hampers. Third place receive R5000 cash+ medals and hampers.

“Club10 is a Massmart brand that is proudly South African. It is the fastest growing Tavern brand in the country. Not only do we want our 400 (and counting) members to be proud of the Club10Tavern brand they are associated with, because of the value we bring to their business, but we also want to engage with their patrons by giving back to the communities these taverns are entrenched in. Providing platforms like the HvP Dance Off Competition where Dance Crews from the local communities can showcase their talents doing what they are passionate about, is one of the ways we’re achieving this. Together with our participating brands – Amstel, Tanqueray and Savanna, we are excited to be part of this campaign” says Elaine Bodha (Brand Manager – Club10).

The project is managed by KAN Communications. “We see Club10HvP contributing immensely to the development of the dance culture in Limpopo. Although no participants below 18 years will be allowed to compete, we look forward to seeing various dance crews with fresh moves at the HVP finale.” explains Kenna Mahlangu (co-founder of KAN Communications and Creative Director of Club10HVP Dance Off Competition).

Celebrity Guest List

Dancers will have a chance to perform in front of a panel of world renowned judges.

Ms Lorcia Cooper- SAFDA award winner and International Choreographer “WOD”. Vukani Khoza - A renowned choreographer who has danced & choreographed for a number of local and international Superstar acts “Beyoncé”. This is proof that HVP Competition is a dance competition of international standards!” explains Kenna Mahlangu. Finale host will be Ms Kulie – Capricorn FM weekend host of the “Saturday Plug”, a socialite and influencer. Performing DJ lineup – Award winner Master KG and Local Heavy hitters

Participants will also have the opportunity to get tips from our judges.
