ative to raise funds, generate income through our musicality and source in funds through concerts, concepts and from financial institutions in order to be sustainable.

 Human Objectives: To advocate for spiritual, emotional, intellectual, life skills and musical growth, build healthy relationships and treat our members with respect.

 Social Objectives: To build a society that is free from drug, alcohol & domestic abuse, and welfare & educational programs as well as campaigns. And also develop the abilities of our members.

 Multiple Objectives: To embrace our musical flexibility, be able to stand out from our competitors. With our expertise of multiple genres, it will enable us to tap into different markets, so as the different age groups.

 Organic Objectives: Enhance the goodwill of the organization, reputation and values. Implementing the schemes of growth, expansion and carrying the activities of research, development and innovation.

 Micro Level Objectives: Improving talents of our youth through the spread of literacy, education, and training. Providing economic or non-economic help to religious, cultural, charitable, institutions for betterment of the community at large.

 National Level Objectives: Entering into new areas of production and distribution according to national priorities. Become a recognized brand and partner with other big brands. Do collaborative concepts to promote the arts at large. Collaborate with tourism sites to showcase South African uniqueness through music.

 Global Objectives: Become a recognized brand worldwide. Do tours outside SA and do cultural exchange programs. Making our music available and accessible through music platforms and social media.

Call for Application | Soul Candi Institute of Music (SCIM) | Powered by SAMRO CSI

SAMRO invites applications for the 2025 Music Business Skills Programme, a flagship CSI initiative in partnership with Soul Candi Institute of Music (SCIM).

This programme equips Full and Associate SAMRO Members with practical industry skills, including copyright, contract management, branding, and financial planning.

Now in its sixth year, the programme has empowered 253 members to grow their music careers. For this call out, 70 qualifying members will be selected for two cohorts starting in February 2026.

Applications opened: 24 November 2025
Applications will close: 15 December 2025

Applicants must hold an NQF Level 2 (Std 8 / Grade 10 or equivalent) qualification.
A link to the application form has been shared with members. Completed forms must be submitted by 15 December 2025.
