🎨✏️ A LITTLE DOODLE, A LOT OF HEART! ❤️

What happens when artists get together with pens, pencils, colour and imagination? A wonderful morning of creativity, connection and community! 🖌️🎨

Our Doodlers gathered at Hoeka Toeka Pub & Diner to create original A5 artworks in preparation for Night of 1000 Drawings – Wilderness Arts Festival 2027!

Every blank page holds a possibility, and every little artwork can become part of something much bigger — helping raise funds for the Seven Passes Initiative. 💛

A huge thank you to everyone who joined us, shared their creativity and made the morning special! Join us on our next Doodle Day!

🌈 Small artworks. Big hearts. A beautiful cause.

MEET NIKI SAUNDERS

Meet Niki Saunders, a wildlife artist whose work captures the incredible detail, character and beauty of the natural world.

Niki specialises in highly detailed, realistic wildlife drawings, using fine technical pens, ink, pencil and charcoal. Her patience, precision and exceptional attention to tonal detail bring her subjects to life with remarkable depth and realism.

Inspired by the techniques of the great masters, Niki has developed her own distinctive style. She also works in acrylic, exploring vibrant colours and creating contemporary pieces that contrast beautifully with her monochromatic wildlife drawings.

From the intricate textures of an elephant's skin to the intensity in a wild animal's eyes and the vibrant colours of marine life, Niki's work invites us to pause and appreciate nature through an artist's eyes. 🖤💙🧡

✨ Discover the art of Niki Saunders and celebrate the talent and creativity within our local arts community.

🌧️🎨 WHAT A BEAUTIFUL RAINY DOODLE DAY! 🎨🌧️

Today we gathered at Hoeka Toeka Pub & Diner in Hoekwil for a wonderful morning of doodling, drawing, creativity and good company. ✏️🖌️☕️

Rain outside? Even better! It created the perfect excuse to get cosy, put pencil to paper and simply sketch, doodle, play, create and be inspired. 💕

A big thank you to everyone who joined us and brought their own creativity to the table. From little doodles to beautiful artworks, it was a lovely reminder that art brings people together. ❤️

Thank you, Hoeka Toeka, for being such a welcoming space for our creative morning!
