💔 URGENT APPEAL: Help Michael Get Back on His Feet ❤️🩹
On Friday, June 12th, our dear Michael was involved in a devastating traffic accident. He was rushed to Rob Ferreira Hospital with a badly broken femur and a severe knee injury.
While he is currently under medical care, we have hit a major roadblock. The hospital's traction table—essential for his required surgery—is currently out of order. This has created an indefinite waiting list, with surgeons estimating a wait of at least 6 weeks before he can be treated.
This is an incredibly painful and dangerous delay.
To bypass this wait and prevent long-term damage, we are looking at private medical care. Costs are estimated between R90,000 and R150,000 (excluding surgeon fees and hardware/pins). Following the surgery, Michael will also require extensive physiotherapy to regain his mobility and get back to his normal life.
