THEATRE KIDZ - When a high-strung theatre enthusiast is asked to MC a variety show, her need for control overpowers the cast’s ambitious plans and creative chaos ensues. When all odds are against you, trying to dull your spotlight… the show must go on?

Theatre KidZ is a coming of age satirical spectacle that brings up the good, the bad and the ugly that goes into putting on any show; turning the spotlight towards the humor in the real life personalities we find backstage. It’s certain to draw you in and keep you enthralled with it’s praise of everyday antics and melodrama through song, dance and performance💃FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY!

AUDITIONS!! Westville Theatre's Children’s Theatre is auditioning for a new Sir Alexander Sidebottom adventure. Written and directed by Leisel Pienaar, it promises to be a fun romp through Fairytale Land. We are looking for nine actors of various ages (9-infinity) to participate in the show.

We also require backstage hands and light and sound technicians. You do not need any skills, we will teach you, if you just give us your time and attention.

Please see our audition notice for all the details and check the rehearsal and show dates carefully as we need your full commitment to make our production successful.

See you at Westville Theatre Club (next door to Westville swimming pool) for auditions on Sunday July 5, 17:00 & Tuesday July 7, 18:30.

Please prepare a 2 minute monologue with children’s theatre in mind we look forward to seeing you at the theatre.

ATTENTION‼️‼️‼️ We got our Sir Henry and now we are on the hunt for Edward!

If you are a male between late 20s and 40s, interested in giving acting ago, can learn lines, have reliable transportation to and from rehearsals and can commit to rehearsals and show dates - give us a call!! We would love to meet you!

Be part of this fun and exciting amdram project! No previous experience necessary. The Hollow cast and directors are excited to welcome you!

Rehearsals:
Mondays and Wednesdays at 18:30-21:00
Sundays: 9-11:30

Show dates:

ATTENTION‼️‼️‼️ We are urgently seeking an older male actor to play the part of Sir Henry in the upcoming exciting play by Agatha Christie, The Hollow, that is being produced by the Westville Theatre Club.

Sir Henry Angkatell is warm, kind, and distinguished owner of the estate. He serves as a calm, engaging presence amidst the family’s chaos.

Rehearsals:
Mondays and Wednesdays at 18:30-21:00
Sundays: 9-11:30

Show dates:
21-23 & 28-30 Aug and 4-6 Sept

Must have reliable transportation, be committed, and able to learn lines. Participation on volunteer basis (not for payment).
