Sandile Phungwayo from Mpumalanga is one of the winners of the Pitch for Funding Competition.

The 27-year-old is the owner and founder of PS Leatherworld. His business manufactures leather products such as belts, wallets, and bags.

All Pitch for Funding Masterclass winners will further receive business support services such as Mentorship, Voucher, and Market Linkages.

The Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA), Small Enterprise Finance Agency (Sefa) in partnership with the National Youth Development Agency (NYDA), Standard Bank, Old Mutual, and Productivity SA, hosted a Pitch for Funding Masterclass in Secunda.

The main aim of this Pitch for Funding Masterclass was to upskill young entrepreneurs with digital marketing tools, access to finance, as well as skills to present business cases effectively and efficiently to persuade potential funders.
