Port Elizabeth! The place to be this week!

Attending the Sew Awareness 23rd SA National Quilt Festival at Collegiate Girl's High School - it brought back lovely memories of my first Festival here 9 years ago.

We're having lots of fun and laughter and seeing so many dear and familiar faces and friends again are the cherry on top!

Also a big thank you to my childhood and forever friend, Carine van Staden, who stood in at the last moment in unfamiliar territory! You are doing a great job!

If you are in the vacinity please make time to attend this event full of lovely quilts and shops on display. It is a special art form!

Thank you to the Sew Awareness Committee for hosting a well-organised Festival! Well done!

Congratulations Alae Grabe on hosting your 20th Quilt in Clarens Festival during the week of 29 April till 2nd of May!

It is always a priviledge and pleasure to be part of it! Jy mag maar!

Clarens is a jewel in the Free State with top restaurants and wonderful people! Friday night's concert was the cherry on top. What a blessing for the soul!

Another big thank you to Alta, Elrie and Leana who came all the way from Paarl to support me and the Festival! Dinner at Treat was indeed a Treat with you all!

For every person who came from far to support me and my fellow vendors - a big big thank you!

Our accommodation at Forest Lane Guest House was lovely! Thank you Helena Ras!

Also had the priviledge to have my children with me for support. The road was long but you and Clarens made every kilometre worthwhile!

Come and join us for a Japanese inspired morning at Country Quilting featuring the well-known Leanne Stewart. She will be teaching us on all the tricks of the trade after mastering the art herself in Japan.

It also includes a presentation of different Japanese art forms.

Lunch with a Japanese theme is included and if you are daring enough and has a kimono - please wear it!

It will all be just fun!
