Her name is Kamogelo Thema.

Yesterday while I was in Turfloop, I was asked to spare a few minutes and got invited to Mamabolo Primary School to hear a very touching story of this kid. She won three prizes at a national science expo for her clean energy project and will be heading to Sweden next year to represent South Africa.

She comes from a trying background and is an orphan who's under the care of her grandmother.

On the 23rd of November the school is hosting a function to celebrate her achievement and the other kid that represented the country in Los Angeles. These kids have risen above their circumstances. I was so touched. I shed a tear.

The school principal has appealed to me to assist with resources to celebrate these young warriors as they don't have any budget. I'm also appealing to you for your help. If you have sound, money or can bring food on the day please WhatsApp me on 0815002495. You have R20, 50 or more please share. It is important that we celebrate such in our communities so as to encourage the spirit of learning and make education fashionable.

Ground breaking solutions to our energy and health problems lie in our communities with these brilliant brains. I have never been more touched and inspired.
