Red Square Dj Knockout Vaal RedSquare presents the 20 Annual DJ Knockout Challege in Dickinson Park Vereeniging happening 16th December 2026 Dickinson Park

The RedSquare DJ KnockOut Challenge finale on the 16th of December of each year marks the culmination of a two and a half
month long search for the next big DJ. Auditions are staged in various townships around Gauteng, Mpumalanga, Limpopo,
KZN, Free State and Western Cape. Selected finalist’ battle it out in front of a crowd (at the finale) for the first, second and
third prizes totalling R150 000

. Popular South African and at times international Dj’s and performers are booked to perform at
the final event every year. Targeting mainly the youth as a market; it is an outdoor gig with a picnic feel to it and has a beer
garden along with food stalls. The year 2019 marks the 13rd anniversary of the competition and plans include inviting some of
the previous winners including DJ Shimza who has since become a household name
