🎉 THANK YOU FOR THE AMAZING ENTRIES! 🎉

A huge thank you to everyone who entered the Retro5000 T-Shirt Competition! We’ve been blown away by the creativity and effort that has gone into all the designs. 👕🔥

All the entries have now been sent to a WhatsApp group we used last year, made up of a mix of different ages, as well as men and women, to help us choose the strongest designs.

They have until Wednesday morning to select their Top 4.

From there, we’ll take the Top 4 or 5 designs and put them into an Instagram poll, where YOU will get the final say! 🗳️

Legend musician Sam Hartman and guitarist Derrick Holmes busking last Thursday and Friday evenings @ Forty One restaurant and bar, Howick.

Sam has been on the music scene since 1966, now 75 and still powering.

Played at many night spots in and around Durban back in the day.
Did a 6 month stint @ Robert E Lee (LA hotel).

His son Jason Hartman has also become a legend musician (2009 co-winner of Idols).
Sam, Jason and his brother Scott played intro for the band The Eagles in Monaco in 2011, and also in the build-up wedding celebrations of the Prince and Princess of Monaco (SA swimmer Charlene Wittstock).

A few weeks ago, the guys played at Club Med on KZN’s north coast.
