O.R. Tambo District Municipality Showcases Local Talent at Decorex Africa 2026
SANDTON, GAUTENG — 30 July 2026 — O.R. Tambo District Municipality is proud to be showcasing the work of local crafters and artists as Decorex Joburg opens today at the Sandton Convention Centre. The four-day event runs from 30 July to 2 August 2026 and forms part of the wider Decorex Africa décor and design, craftsmanship and enterprise of O.R. Tambo on a national platform alongside a broad range of contemporary design brands.
The Joburg edition occupies five levels of the Sandton Convention Centre, where visitors can explore décor, lighting, furniture, textiles, appliances, installations, designer showcases and the Design Market. Under the 2026 theme, Soft Life, the organiser has positioned the exhibition around comfort, contemporary design and intentional living.
For O.R. Tambo District Municipality, the occasion is more than an exhibition opportunity.
