*We Are More Than What You See At The Robots*

I know people talk. I know people wonder.

“What happens to the money they collect at the robots? What happens to the money from the gigs?”

Let me speak plainly, because you deserve the truth.

We are not here because we want attention. We are here because we have responsibilities.
We are out of our comfort zones. Some of us left home to chase something bigger.

So where does the money go?
*It goes to rent.* Because at the end of the day we must have a place to sleep.
*It goes to food.* Because you can’t dance on an empty stomach. You can’t think about competitions when your body is weak.
*It goes to family.* At month-end, we send something home. Even if it’s small. Because back home, they are waiting. Because we are the reason they believe in tomorrow.
*It goes to our future.* There are competitions coming up. Registration fees. Transport. Shoes that don’t fall apart. Training that costs more than just sweat.

To those who drive past OR Tambo Road, Witbank, every day:
We are always at the robots next to TUT Campus. We don’t beg for pity. We work for it. We give you our bodies, our rhythm, our energy, in exchange for your support.

Some days are quiet. Some days, no one stops. But we still dance. Because we know that one day, one coin, one person can change the direction of our week.

And to those who have stopped, who have clapped, who have given:
We see you. We remember your face. You are the reason we keep showing up. You are the reason we believe that people still care.

Your support is not just money. It’s a message. It says: “I see you. I see your effort. Keep going.”
We are not asking for luxury. We are asking for a chance. A chance to eat, to pay rent, to get to the next competition, to make our families proud.

So the next time you pass us, know this: you are not just giving to dancers. You are giving to dreams that refuse to die.
